Mia holds a B.S. in Electronic Media Broadcasting from Appalachian State University and is passionate about building effective teams, and using creative design, video, and photography to create high growth products and communities.
She currently is a Producer at Spectrum News One in Raleigh, NC. Previously she served as the PR and Marketing specialist at Dig Local. She also previously served as an Associate Producer for 4 shows at AppTV, helped to create a diverse and well-trained staff, and spent a few years as a freelance creative.
Originally from Asheville, North Carolina she has spent time in Puerto Rico studying photography, building houses, and learning more about the rich culture she comes from. She loves books, yoga, and trail running.
