2021 MMJ Reporter Reel

In a Multimedia Storytelling class, we were challenged to find a local area that had been impacted in ways by the COVID-19 pandemic that we hadn’t seen before. Boone is one of those towns that just oozes with down home comfort,

This video was one of the first I’ve ever made. Our class was assigned to shoot, script, and work with adverse indoor artificial lighting conditions to create a dramatic rendition of a childhood game.

This video is one that I am extremely proud of as it was recorded, edited, and put live on air all in the same 3 hour time span.

Taking a deeper look at close to home stories is one of my favorite past times. Local tourist attraction, Linville Caverns, was glad to see local wildlife returning until they noticed some of their furry, winged friends, were carrying an unsuspecting illness.
